April, 2nd: three-point shot’s introduction in the NCAA, UNLV’s record and Duke’s humiliation2 aprile 2013
1986 – The NCAA decides to change its rules, introducing the three-point shot. The change will be enacted starting from 1986-87 season.
1990 – The UNLV Rebels makes NCAA History. In the NCAA final game, they destroy Duke 103-73, recording two accomplishments: the most points ever scored and the largest victory in a NCAA final game.
1995 – Rebecca Lobo leads Connecticut to a perfect season (32-0), defeating Tennessee University in the women’s NCAA tournament’s final game with the final score of 70-64.
